Well, as I should have said, that's how I see it :) I'm no "all knower of everything that is to be known", I just know the fandoms I've been in, I've seen people be legit nice to a BNF and get totally ignored. Then again, the few BNF's I've experienced have usually been amazingly rude and unkind and totally okay with making horrific assumptions about people they know nothing about and totally okay with telling others these assumptions that were seriously no good. BUT! I'm not here to burden you with my silliness XD

It's not "terrible", but it is a little disappointing when I see it because, just as I said above, the BNF is often what one first entering a fandom sees. And, as I've usually experienced, that A) Dictates how future members act or B) creates this rift in a fandom in which people fall into fractions and no one ever wants to experience that in fandom.

THEN AGAIN! That's just how I see things and that's just they way I think XD Oh god, reading that back that sounds so naive ;A;
