Yeah, I know what you mean, Anon. I think CM mostly does a good job of not focusing on the characters' personal lives more than the case, but the past couple seasons have sort of leaned more toward personal stuff. That makes me leery of the show's direction, which is a shame 'cause it's one of my faves.

CSI bothers me more. I just did NOT want to hear so much about Catherine's loser husband, Warrick's gambling/booze problems, Nick's involvement with a prostitute or Sarah's ANYTHING, much like Grissom/Sarah. Ugh. Just typing that annoys me that I know so much about this stupid show.
