maybe they ship a really rare pairing? I don't feel my IQ slipping away when I read really badly-written fic, but it DOES get to me...but sometimes you're kind of starved for choice.

I was thinking this as well

I know I've slogged through some fics with truly awful grammar just because they were the only ones about my obscure pairing that weren't totally OOC.
