Harry Potter, Albus Potter/Scorpius, you've probably read this too but if you haven't, seriously read this first. it is absolutely amazing and SO LONG and glorious. scorp is absolutely in love with albus and they become friends and scorp is deliciously tortured by his unrequited love for a lot of the fic. it deals with bullying (because of scorp being gay) but its not really explicit aside from one instance of him being beaten up and there's no sexual abuse. angst: 3.5/5

Harry Potter, Harry/Draco, Idk how i can get this to you (i have it saved) or if you can request for it yourself somehow because the fic was taken down but this is absolutely right up your alley i think. Draco makes a huge sacrifice for harry, whom he is completely, utterly in love with and whom really hates him. it's long and super angsty but has a really great resolution and they do get together. angst: 5/5
• this isn't going to be very helpful but there was a gundam wing fic i read a few years ago (1x2) where duo is heero's pet cat and is in love with him. he gets turned back into a human about halfway into the fic and i know it was long and stuff but for the life of me can't find it anymore, sorry D: maybe someone else has heard of it.
• Une Belle Journee (http://www.fanfiction.net/s/3369396/1/Une_Belle_Journee) and the sequel J'ai Mal au Coeur (http://www.fanfiction.net/s/4044412/1/Jai_Mal_au_Coeur)
Kyou Kara Maoh, Yuuri/Wolfram. holy fuck the first fic is depressing. i think it may be the only fic in my life that made me tear. even if you're not into the show, i would recommend maybe just reading up a little on yuuri and wolfram's relationship in the show and then definitely read this because it's exactly what you're looking for. warning tho: character death, and it's not a happy ending. the sequel is just as depressing. keep your tissues ready if you cry easily. angst: 6/5

(note: korean names go surname then first name, so their names are jaejoong and yunho, not kim and jung). angst: 4/5
aah i think this is all i can put together for now. im really bad at bookmarking fics tbh so this is just what i remember off the top of my head. i hope i was able to give you some new things to try :) enjoy!
