I've unwatched the majority of LoK blogs I was watching and have abandoned the fandom. I missed it with AtlA because I was years late. But this?

URGH.

So many disgusting people - especially where Asami is concerned. I hope Masami is endgame and Mako keeps being "OOC". I'd hate to see them feel justified after such horrid behaviour. If that's how they treat a fictional girl I'd hate to see what they're like IRL when their crush likes someone else. >:[

eta: oh, and this pisses me off. New girl who is nice = "bitch, whore, slut!". New guy who is mean = "hot, sexy, awesome"

Re your edit: GOD I KNOW. I mean, okay, admittedly, he has a nice voice. But that's it! I think he's creepy and unappealing, although I guess I can appreciate him the same way I appreciate Gary Oak. Asami is so lovely, and what does she get? "OMG SHE'S SUSPICIOUS AS FUCK I BET SHE RAN INTO MAKO ON PURPOSE."

Uhm... but she didn't. Unless they want to imply that she's been circling the area, waiting for Mako to jump in front of her moped. I really hope she's not an Equalist, not only because I want Korra and her to be bffs, but also because I think it's interesting to have a non-bender on the team who's against Equalists. (Okay, there's Pema too, but she's less likely to go on adventures with the others.)

She's probably going to be involved someway, but I'm hoping not as the "bad guy" side. Aside from being cliche movie, I want the pretty girl = evil trope broken. (and of course it's Asami's fault he ran out onto the road in front of her. I'm surprised she didn't crack her head after hitting him.)

Honestly she really reminds me of Katara (with the friendly help people naiveness) so it's "interesting" seeing all these people who presumably like Katara hating on her. I'm not even keen on Asami (need more back story please) but I hate seeing how she's treated.

Re ?Tahno?. Gave me the creepy vibes nrgn. makes for a good villian, but I won't be sad when he's gone.

I've seen people speculate that she might be a moderate or former Equalist. One that wishes for more rights for non-benders but does not agree with Amon's methods, which I'd be completely fine with. I just don't want her to be Amon's right hand or something like that.

LOL when Mako was hit I thought it was totally his fault for suddenly jumping into the middle of the road from behind a blind spot. Asami was nice for apologizing, I'd just go up to him and ask if he has a death wish.

In one of the teaser trailers you can see him having his bending ability taken away by Amon. He's so not going to be part of the main gang, people.
