People might rag on the NHS but we get free medical treatment, and we get it fast. I could make an appointment with a doctor tomorrow if I wanted to, and I wouldn't pay a thing. It's.. so wrong that some countries make it so that people have to suffer like this.

We really are lucky. OP, I really hope it all works out for you.

And that is the reason why we need to fight to keep it! This current government is slowly selling out to private medical firms. Soon we will be no better off than our American sibs, scared to go to a doctor because we cannot afford the bills or insurance.
