Have you seen episode 6? Even her dislike for Korra was driven by her romantic feelings for Tenzin.

In episode 6, Tenzin reveals that he and Lin were lovers in the past. Tenzin says that Lin's enemisty for Korra is probably a derivate of her distaste for him after he choose Pema over her.

Did you even watch the episode?

....Really? I mean, I love the way they play off each other and think they make a kick-ass team, but you really want them to have a relationship between the lead character and someone old enough to be her grandparent? That's pretty disgusting.

I read that as Tenzin saying Lin's irritation at that particular moment was because of Tenzin.

Even if that's not the correct interpretation,and yours is, it's still according to Tenzin. I'd rather wait to see what Lin has to say about it for herself.
