Completely agree with this. I think it's really inappropriate to classify a person based on their skin color, sexuality, etc., and it's done all the time. It's completely counterproductive to the cause of trying to make these things not matter. You can't tell people to ignore these traits and then relate to people as what they are according to their race, their sexuality, their gender, their whatever.
