..I've seen people get severely harassed and bullied for months over the smallest of supposed infractions, something as simple as saying, "That movie was crazy!". I'm not sure how you can't see a problem with a person receiving death threats over their portrayal of a PoC in a picture. Bullying is bullying, whether it's IRL or on the Internet, and it hurts either way. It's not LESS painful just because it's words in a message instead of in person.
