Who should they have used instead to make this movie not that thing you are certain it is?

The wasp? Cause I bet you don't know who that is, you didn't bring her up! You'd probably have loved if they used Janet instead, and I'm sure everybody here would agree!

I liked BW in the movie, but I would've been forever in love if they had used the Wasp. Janet is one of my fave avengers.

OMG, I thought I was the only one! There's absolutely no fic for it at all, and that was making me sad. There's a lot of Coulson/Hawkeye, but next to nothing for Fury/Coulson. I should rectify that.

Nope! I came out of that movie shipping no one that I thought I would (based on what I had heard about the comic books) (aka Tony and Steve), and hugely shipping Coulson/Fury. I think it's the way that the (spoiler) scene happens between them, after Loki does his stuff. vague scene description kept intentionally vague because I'm using my phone, and I don't know the code for spoilers off the top of my head.

And yes! There's so much Coulson/Hawkeye, and I'm left wondering "WTF? Did I just miss something, because I'm just not seeing it..."

And I haven't been able to find any Fury/Coulson either. If I had an actual grasp on writing their characters/drawing, I would so join you. D: But! I will keep looking, and maybe I'll see your stuff someday!

Yeah, I don't really remember Coulson and Hawkeye interacting all that much, except for that one scene in Thor. But I guess shippers gonna ship.

If I watched only 100% socially balanced and unproblematic movies I... probably wouldn't be watching movies at all, actually. Especially not superhero movies.

I can be a feminist and still like the movie. I can like the movie, see the problems with it, be a feminist, slash pretty white boys, cook my husband dinner, and go out in the world and stab assholes with my social justice sword, all at the same time.

I...don't think there are. Even if people consider the makers the most wholesome family-oriented company ever, the resulting movies will still have something off about them. Even Disney. Especially Disney. Watching Peter Pan for the first time as an adult felt very different from watching it when I was too young to know how messed up certain aspects were.

I really want to know what issues you found in peter pan now. I haven't seen it in awhile but I would love to know!

The "What Makes the Red Man Red" song, while incredibly catchy and fun to listen to as a child is just... No as an adult, with all the racist imagery. It's just horrible.
