The X-Men movies are done by another company (Fox, not Marvel), so they couldn't have Storm.

Ohh, right! That's probably what I was thinking of, lol. I am utter fail at keeping track of studios. My understanding is more or less "this OTHER STUDIO that is NOT AS GOOD AS MARVEL is keeping them from including two of my favorite Avengers AUGH" xD

lol. And the entire reason we're getting ANOTHER Spiderman movie is because Sony was about to lose the rights to the character (I think the deal is that if they don't use the character in X amount of years the rights revert back to Marvel) and they didn't want to do that.

...I know this is highly unlikely but in light of the Spider-man reboots, and how awesome The Avengers was, very little would make me happier than them finding a way to include SM in the next Avengers movie and have Tobey play the role.

But I'm pretty sure that isn't going to happen since Sony has the rights and I think Tobey said he was done with that role.

Movie studios hate looking bad. If Marvel goes and makes a better spider man movie then their last one (and lets face it, they probably can), execs will have to admit somebody did it better.

They will spend hundreds of millions to not admit they were wrong, and prove they can get it right THIS time...

No X-men or any mutants. Period. I heard talks of them putting Scarlet Witch in the next one but they'd have to sever her ties with Magneto and remove her from being a mutant.

I'm not too familiar with her current canon, but wasn't there talk that her powers are not mutant, but magical fullstop?
