But really, uh, okay? Pity me then. I started out hating Gundam Wing as the representation of all Gundam, without really knowing what the others were about. But it was SEED that made me actually find it interesting enough to get into all the others. It will always remain my favorite, along side an equal place with 08th MS Team.
UC might have the most expanded and intricate world setting, and it may be full of history and be the original, but everyone is going to have their own idea of what kind of character is interesting to them. And I think that's what makes Gundam as a franchise great. There are SO MANY to choose from.

I'm not going to deny that if I watched it now, I probably would enjoy Gundam Wing, but I was putting a bias on it based on my view of the fandom.
What we like is subjective, and I'm not going to put down another Gundam Series, or fans for enjoying it.
