I haven't seen a lot of this in fandom, but if you have, than that sucks. I'm sort of in the middle- I tend to prefer "cute" guys to "handsome"/"sexy" guys (I mean, I find said cute guys to be handsome and sexy, but that's probably not how they're labeled by the general public. Or something) but I also appreciate classically handsome dudes- for example, in Community I have massive crushes on Troy and Abed and think that Danny Pudi and Donald Glover are frustratingly beautiful and adorable and al;sdkfn;lasdfn;alsdn, but hey, I oggle Jeff sometimes, too. But yeah, don't let people shame you for whom you're attracted to.

IDK, I'd put Donald as typically attractive, especially with his body. Though I mostly hang out in Community with the Troy/Abed shippers and the Donald and Danny fangirls, so my view might be skewed here. But yes, Donald and Danny are both so gorgeous! :8 I am totally using this icon for a specific reason xD

yeah, I'm pretty bad at differentiating between typical and non-typical attractiveness now, because I've always thought I was only attracted to unconventionally attractive guys and now when I find someone hot it's like "oh, other people think he's hot, too? Huh." But yeah, now that I think about it, I'd agree with you. Anyway, yeah, they're both gorgeous. (your icon <333)
