I feel like this every time there's gay speculation about a celebrity. Particularly with somebody who has a pretty big gay rumor going around right now, who was my hero when I was a kid... I know we're supposed to believe the rumors and shipping aren't true, but I always wonder about the chance that they are. Who'd be making it worse for the celebrity, the rumor-spreaders and "IT IS NOT JUST SHIPPING IT'S TOTALLY TRUE" shippers, or the people going around defending that celebrity's heterosexuality?

I wish it was safe for these people to come out if they wanted to, without risking their careers.
