here we go again. same situation with 'The Walking Dead'.

no problem in being an 'Avengers' fan if you haven't/don't plan to read the comics, just don't say you're a comic book fan. people get mad because those two things use to be interchangeable and it really just feels like a shit tonne of people jumping on to the geek-base all of a sudden, and it's frustration when something that used to be made fun of/bullied are now the most popular thing. it's always a good thing when more people like what you like, but we what geeks like to do is compare and contrast everything, so once a conversation starts it kinda goes from: "OMG!!!!!!!1" to "um, okay..."
