I think every fandom with more than one canon needs to embrace this.

I've enjoyed the Avengers and the movies leading up to it, but there is no way I'd read the comics. I could never get into superhero comics: I just don't find the art style remotely appealing.

Likewise. I have a hard time following speech bubbles for that matter, so comics aren't really something I enjoy--too much struggling to follow.

I'll just be a movie-only fan, kthanx.
