It's possible, but always back up your statements with verifiable information from the movies. Quote scenes, then comment on your interpretations from there.

My point being, don't make up stuff out of whole cloth, and don't do so and then claim it's from the comics if you've never read them.

(This can apply to anything in any fandom. I wouldn't presume to be an expert on the Unicron Trilogy in Transformers, because I've never watched it, or an expert on TF comics, because I've read almost none of them, but I consider myself passingly knowledgeable about the G1 cartoon and movieverse.)
