Yeah, because the younger generation are always SO much more enlightened, right, and us oldies, en masse, need to be edumacated by their brave resistance.

Ageism is ugly.

Dude. I'm 45. I'm probably older than you. And yes, sometimes we older people need to question our assumptions. Especially if they are based on the bigoted ideas that were once deemed completely acceptable.

Sometimes, yes. But to tar a whole 'generation' with the same brush = ageism. You don't want to admit it, please yourself. Still ageism.

I don't know what the fuck you are talking about. Are you suggesting that I'm agist to acknowledge that people of our parents generation grew up with a different set of social mores than we have today? Because that's idiotic.

It's not ageism to fucking acknowledge that the older generation in general tends to be more conservative.

Saying "you are X age therefore you are conservative" IS prejudicial.
