(Anonymous) 2012-05-20 11:23 am (UTC)(link)I don't know this character or even what fandom he's from, but judging by some FS I've seen, this dude is the new Aziraphale/Crowley, and I'm not sure what's going on because there's a pretty thorough description of him upthread, but the suggestions for his casting have been some of the most varied and conflicting I've ever seen. At least Good Omens has barely any description of the characters' appearances.
As for Michael Pitt, it's always a pleasure to see those ridiculous lips on my screen, but I'm not sure of how good an actor he is. I've only seen him as passive, weak-willed, and slightly-to-extremely perverted characters. Not sure how he'd play as the scary evil sadist the description seems to suggest. (I keep meaning to watch Boardwalk Empire, but I'm afraid Steve Buscemi can and will act circles around him.)
