Sounds like the same jerks who say that people who are fans of New Doctor Who can't call ourselves fans of Doctor Who at all if we haven't watched every single episode of Classic Doctor Who. I don't have the time or money to find, purchase, download, and watch all of the Classic Who episodes.

We're all fans. One is not better than the other. One might have more or different knowledge than the other but we can all still call ourselves fans of the same fandom.
