1. Dude, I'm the same age and I think he's hot. ♥ He's ALADDIN! You can't not adore him.

2. .. same here. >>; though to a slightly lesser extent since I don't know exactly how it ends. so now I'm speed reading the manga in an effort to head off more spoilers.

8. All these Dr. Who secrets keep making me want to watch the series. ): But I have no idea where to start.

12. What is that?

17. ... it's so cute D: even if you COULD see it as sexist and creepy, IMO, that's only if you're a tightass who has no sense of fun, AKA you're taking it seriously which .. since it doesn't take ITSELF seriously, that's a little ridiculous. >| -loves on Tamaki-

26. Okay, seriously, there have been 2378587937846 secrets of this and I have no idea wtf it is. WTF?

8 -- If you want to watch Classic Who it's probably best to have people rec stories for you. But you can just watch New Who starting with Christopher Eccleston if you want; nobody will bite you.

Unless you're into that kind of thing.

[identity profile] aishiteru.livejournal.com 2007-07-15 10:38 pm (UTC)(link)
.. you wouldn't have any to rec then, would you? XD I wouldn't know where to FIND the classic Who episodes.

Nah I'm good, thanks.

Unfortunately -- and this is just between you, me and the rest of LJ -- I haven't actually watched much Classic Who since I was like five (eight if you count the telemovie).

You can order them on DVD though; I have no idea where you'd download them from, although torrents are a pretty safe bet for most things.

26. Metalocalypse. It's a series on Adult Swim.

[identity profile] aishiteru.livejournal.com 2007-07-15 10:39 pm (UTC)(link)
... somehow, I am not surprised. Oh, Adult Swim, how you have fallen.

[identity profile] terrie.livejournal.com 2007-07-15 10:51 pm (UTC)(link)
Erm. Way to judge something without even knowing what it is.

[identity profile] aishiteru.livejournal.com 2007-07-15 11:01 pm (UTC)(link)
Well, it's more of a general statement, since I personally think Adult Swim was much better a couple years ago.

Still, you tell me. Many of the things I've seen on Adult Swim recently are "meh" at best for me, but - is it any good?

[identity profile] terrie.livejournal.com 2007-07-15 11:09 pm (UTC)(link)
I think it is, yes, but it's not everyone's thing. It's one of my two favourite shows on Adult Swim right now, the other being The Venture Bros. The fandom is fucking scary though. D:

[identity profile] aishiteru.livejournal.com 2007-07-15 11:19 pm (UTC)(link)
.. if the number of secrets is anything to judge by XD I'd assume the fandom is pretty nuts. Then again, completely nutty fandoms have never stopped me from liking something before, so I'll give it a look, if I can. :O All these secrets have piqued my interest.

8. Do it do it do it :D

Scifi is airing Series 3 right now (I think they're on episode 3) and series 1 and 2 are available on DVD. I would recommend Series 1, just because I adore the Ninth Doctor like nothing else :D

I got into the Classic series by getting a list of all the episodes and then searching for ones with interesting titles.

[identity profile] aishiteru.livejournal.com 2007-07-15 10:41 pm (UTC)(link)
:O Sounds good to me! (I've also gotten acquainted with the Ninth and Tenth doctors through RP actually and that caused at least half of my interest.)

How did you get them, though? Torrent?

[identity profile] kohda.livejournal.com 2007-07-18 06:23 am (UTC)(link)
You can get them on DVD but 700+ episodes is sort of a big investment. I know there are torrents, but I don't know where to find them :\ A lot of the episodes are up on youtube actually (you just need to know the title to search for) and tv-links.co.uk has the new series, and some of the old ones, I think...

Anyway, hope that was some help^^
