16. Ugh. I'm so sorry you have to deal with someone like that, people who take fanfic THAT personally really suck.

I don't know if you know, but I heard that there's going to be a new Chipmunk movie. But it'll be live action to my 2D loving dismay. D:

About #16--it might be directed at fandom in general actually. There's loads of meta that tends to come in waves about fic authors' responsibility to people when it comes to fic content. As in, some people write rape fantasies, which might offend/bother people who have actually been raped. Or how it's fic authors responsibility to write more fic about characters of colour versus some writers saying it's the fault of canon that character of colour are not interesting enough. Or how writing slash doesn't subvert gender roles like we like to think because it sidelines women altogether. Or whatever. (All of the previous subjects come from posts on metafandom over the past months).

Oh, yeah. The old entitlement brat syndrome. D:

Some stuff, like people warning their fics properly so readers can avoid stuff that would bother them, I agree with. The idea that my hobby needs to have, like, set guidelines by which to write, I don't.

I think warnings are a good thing, but I do hate when people DEMAND warnings when it's just as easy to click 'back' when they see something they don't like.
