What bothered me most about the teaser thing I saw was the fact that they seemed to make Watson a woman for the pure and simple fact that she's supposed to be coming from an emotional place in order to help Holmes overcome his addiction. The apparent squeamishness cemented that for me, and I'm not happy about it.

I agree, I dislike the fact that emotional means a character is all touchy-feely and cries all the time etc. Emotional people can be pretty badass as well and I want her to be badass and emotional not just running around after poor Holmes who needs her love.

I mean yeah I've only seen the trailer so I'll wait to watch until the first few eps but it's worrying.
