Okay then. Stop letting her fics run your fandom life. I mean, seriously, is she worth two secrets on the same damn subject? You are never going to convince anyone who likes her fics not to like them. You just come off as a grudgy mcgrudge person.

See, I kind of read this as, OP made a secret (that I honestly don't remember at the moment) that s/he disliked a popular fic in fandom. Instead of letting it go, it created a great deal of, "BUT -AUTHOR- IS SO AMAZING/GOOD/KIND/VIRGIN MARY WHHYYYYY???"

And since OP said nothing about the author themself, just that they disliked their writing, they're a bit miffed that people seem to equate "I don't like Bob/ina's fic." with "I hate Bob/ina."

But to be honest, I don't think I would have had the energy to make a second secret, because really, some people just can't understand that you don't like someone's writing, even if they're hailed as the be all and end all of a particular fandom.
