I remember Scarecrow and Mrs King and Remington Steele! I mean, I remember/have watched a lot of the others, but those two seem the ones people these days are least likely to know. (-:

The one I really like these days:
Brennan is a forensic anthropologist, Booth is an FBI agent, together they fight crime. (Bones)

I remember them well. (The first three seasons of Scarecrow and Mrs. King are out on DVD - they're a little dated, but still fun to watch). ☺

Yeah, I watched the first season and some of the second season of Bones and it fits well into that mold, but I never really got into it, ah well.

I'll admit I haven't seen either Sc&MK or RS for ages...

The thing I like about Bones is that it's the female character fits the Sherlock mold (brilliant, not good with people, arrogant), while the male is the Watson (better with people, smart but not brilliant, military background).

I guess I can see that about Bones. Yeah, most of the time, it's the male half of the equation that's the somewhat misanthropic genius. Of the ones that I watch, Warehouse 13 probably comes the closest to female Sherlock/male Watson mold, although the dichotomy is not as extreme. And I suppose, Remington Steele had shadings of this even if they sort of pretended it was the other way around.
