Oh, yeah, I agree with you. I actually liked it better then the Dark Knight movies. I know that that weirds people out, but the Dark Knight movies just made me feel like life sucked and nothing was worth it, and the Green Lantern movie felt like everything was going to be fun.

(This was before I saw the Marvel movies, though, and ngl, I like them better now.) :D

I think it depends on my mood. I mean, I like the Dark Night movies (though I prefer Begins and DK is usually a bit too depressing for me and mostly enjoyable for Aaron Eckheart), but I do have depression. And I have to be in the right mindset to watch the DK movies.

I'm all about the Marvel movies. Thor is one of my favorites ever and has become my "bad day" movie. But Green Lantern is still fun to watch.

I think for me it's a tie between Thor and Captain America. But, yeah, I get the 'right mindset' thing. ♥

I need to get my hands on Thor and CA now...

I got both of them and First Class for Christmas this past year. Best Christmas ever.

I really need to have a superhero movie party one of these days and watch all of them along with the Superman movies. And also watch some Lois and Clark. I've been on a real superhero kick lately. Maybe that's what I'll do this holiday weekend.

Nice! :D

Oh, sounds like fun. I'm actually having a musical weekend this weekend, but a superhero one also sounds amazing. I hope you have fun with whatever you do! :D

OMG that movie gave me such a crush on Aaron Eckhart
And I have bipolar depression and I was in a huge depressive state at the time that movie came out so I ended up seeing it five times in the theatre because every time I saw it made me feel so much better for some reason, IDK

Oooo, someone else who thinks that way about the Dark Knight movies! I liked the first one fine, but then they just got too dark for me. Which is weird, 'cause I like dark stuff, but, yeah. Anyways.

A big reason why I like the Marvel movies is 'cause of how happy they are compared to the TDK.

[identity profile] loracarol.livejournal.com 2012-05-26 12:03 am (UTC)(link)
Oh, same! :D

The first one was really good, but the second one... Yeah. >_>;

Exactly! Even when bad things happen, it seems like there are good things, the sun will come out, at any moment, whereas in TDK it feels like everything's going to hell, and nothing will ever get better. Ever. |D

I mean, it makes sense, given the characters, but... ^^;
