Haha, seriously. I have been a life-long Buffy fan, and I would not set a foot anywhere near the fandom. XD I'm sure the shit really hit the fan when Buffy/Spike became canon too.

Dear god, the Buffy canon shippers have if anything, an average of far higher crazy than the non-canon shippers. I cannot even think of a wank started by anybody else (not that there aren't totally sane canon shippers in BtVS fandom).
