yep, but they put me in a size that was really uncomfortable. it felt like it was crushing my ribs and i had red welts from the underwire. never went back again because when i said it was uncomfortable she was like "no no this is definitely your size, trust me, it'll really help out the girls" :/

This may not be want you want hear :( but when I finally got fitted for a bra after losing some weight, I had the same experience. For about two weeks, the bras were really uncomfortable, felt like they were crushing my ribs because the bra was actually tight enough for the middle part to sit flush on my chest and separate my boobs like it's supposed to. And then the discomfort gradually went away. I had been so used to wearing looser bras (I was too high on the band size and too low on the cup size) that wearing the ones that fit were really uncomfortable at first. But then I got used to it and it was okay.

I totally understand, though, if you're just not willing to deal with that level of discomfort (at least initially).

Have you tried other bra styles in the size that was recommended to you? Maybe one without an underwire?

i've tried a ton of different styles. not many without underwire though?

maybe i'll try that. try the size she recommended but with no underwire so at least that part of the discomfort's gone and see if it stretches out a bit. see if i get used to it. i just didn't think you had to break in bras like shoes.

I really hope you find something that works for you. I know how irritating it can be when nothing is fitting correctly.

I also have friends who have tried that Genie bra that is always being advertised on TV, and they love it. I haven't tried it myself, but it's gotten good reviews from several friends. That one has no underwire but is supposed to be really supportive.
