I know, man. It's like "there's this thing called an anti-hero, and that's what McMurphy is."

I don't know, man. The whole fact that committing rape doesn't knock someone out of the hero category completely (including all its variants) is more than enough reason for me to hate McMurphy.

Statutory rape, and he didn't know the girl was underage. Differences, learn them.

Oh, and your use of "man" is disgusting on several levels, not in the least supporting the dangerous notion that women are never misogynistic and if a woman expresses approval for some misogynistic action, it must somehow be actually perfectly okay and not misogynistic because everyone women are beautiful and pure creatures of light and compassion who dedicate every waking minute to uplifting and defending oppressed fellow women everywhere./sarcasm

They were simply tossing their own phrase back at them by adding the negative and emphasising the word that sounded stupid to them. 'I know, man' -> 'I don't know, man.' Jerky, yes, misogynistic, no.

Except McMurphy's racism and misogyny aren't treated as negative qualities, with the way the women and black people are portrayed in the novel.
