Someone help me out - what did they get right, what happened in that episode? Didn't see it yet. :(

They got pretty much nothing right.

I'd say it was sort of really gratifying and "feelgood", I'd say.

SPOILER:

They finally win nationals, still a bit like underdogs, and me personally I was cheering them on. As some others in the thread said, I think Vocal Adrenaline did the better performance, but I still loved seeing them win. They also seemed like they sort of matured and there was this warm friendship between them which was really sweet. Don't know if the OP meant that, but hope that helps.

I didn't know they had transgendered people on the show. Cool.

I agree. But fandom has somehow turned that into a bad thing, merely because it's happening on Glee.

Pretty sure anon up there is making fun of Lea Michelle's looks.

Really? Cuz there's actually a transgender character on the show.

Man I hate that so much :( I know Glee has its faults, but since it's apparently cool to hate Glee people piss and moan about any of the issues it approaches.

Personally, I think they got PWN'd by Aural Adrenaline. I love me some Glee, and I love me some show choir, but I thought TND's show was boring, especially since it was at the Nat'l level.

Yeah, I totally loved the finale but it was somehow ruined by the knowledge that Rachel will be back next season. (Like Lea Michele, hate Rachel Berry.)
So instead of popping a vein I did the smart thing and decided to drop the show after that last episode.

Noooooo, really? Because the only thing they did right was ship off Rachel. That totally fails if she's coming back. :(

Yup, she's coming back for season 4. Kurt as well.

I can't stand either, but they're Murphy's golden darlings so ofc they're coming back.

I agree with you a MILLION percent. Especially about the happy stuff.

If you mean your standards had been so crushed by the mountain of horrible episodes that any hint that there was a cohesive narrative and good characterization made it completely right, IA.

LOL. Oh Glee. I'm glad I gave you up but sometimes I miss you, since when you were good you were OH SO VERY GOOD. But when you were bad, you were terrible.

I'm glad that you found something you love and aren't letting other's negativity ruin it for you but the thought that Glee actually "moves [your] soul" is making me laugh a little

OP here. That episode did, yeah, because it made me remember the bittersweet final schooldays of my own little group of outcasts.And I feel they really got it right in that respect. Some episodes I'm more indifferent about, but the singing usually makes me happy.

I liket it too. But it felt like finding one good trait in the person who used to love you and now abuses you.
