I believe it's only really racist of you act EVERYONE of a certain race looks the same and don't at least make some effort to tell different people apart ... the fact that you know that they're two different people and are making an effort to remember which is which has to count for something...

... at least I hope it counts for something seeing as I'm horrible at remembering faces.

I agree. These two particular men look a lot alike (my first thought seeing the picture before I read the secret was "I bet these two are hard to tell apart if you have a poor quality download"), so the OP being unable to tell these two men apart isn't racist.

Also, they're supposed to be halfbrothers. I know instances of siblings looking so alike they're hard to tell apart, regardless of the race of the person looking on.

This. When I was in elementary school there were two sisters that even the teachers mixed up because how much they looked alike [they weren't twins either, one was a year or two older than the other]. It was only after I got to be pretty good friends with both of them that I started being able to tell them apart as soon as I saw them. /coolstorybro
