I don't watch this, but there is no way in Hell I would be able to tell those two apart. I'm horrible with telling apart faces and people, and at least half the time when I'm watching a movie or something on TV, I can't tell the people apart, and get horrible confused.

Jon squints and Robb widens his big buggy eyes when they get riled. Robb has brown hair and Jon has black, which apparently is never washed.

If that doesn't work, Jon's pretty much in a uniform now :)

Well, seeing as they're supposed to be related, that kinda fits. But to help you out: big woeful blue eyes and hangs around in tents without snow around = Rob Stark. Big woeful brown eyes and hangs around in places with snow = Jon Snow.

TLDR; if there's snow, it's probably Jon Snow.

I believe it's only really racist of you act EVERYONE of a certain race looks the same and don't at least make some effort to tell different people apart ... the fact that you know that they're two different people and are making an effort to remember which is which has to count for something...

... at least I hope it counts for something seeing as I'm horrible at remembering faces.

Ugh even my mom-in-law got them confused. There was some Masterpiece Theatre miniseries on PBS about WWI and she was telling me about how "Jon Snow" was in it so I watched it expecting Kit Harrington and got Richard Madden instead! Talk about a let down! (For me anyway, Madden does nothing for me aside from the accent.) But anyway, I thought they were supposed to look somewhat similar? I mean, they are related

I'm going to go out on a limb from the word "racist" and make a guess that you are not white? If so, let me say, don't worry about it. Not because of any SJW business about privilege or whatever. There's this website called alllooksame.com that was started by a guy who immigrated to the US from Japan when he was 16. And he had a lot of trouble telling Caucasians, even those who didn't look very similar to one another, apart at first. But the more familiar you are with a given group, the easier it is to make distinctions. (You can read his thoughts on all this here (http://alllooksame.com/?page_id=16).) So I don't think this is racist.

Oh god me too. I can tell them apart now, but it took one and a half seasons to get there.

I really need to watch the first season again now I can actually remember who everyone is, because I literally spent most of the time going "pale dark haired guy number one, pale dark haired guy number 2, oh, you're blond! I can remember who you are. Pale dark haired... who the fuck were you again?" Seriously, everyone who isn't blonde or a woman looked exactly the same to me for ages.
