I know that you're (rightfully) angry about the treatment you've received because of your orientation, but please try to think about what you said. Bisexual people don't choose to like both genders any more than you choose to like your own gender. If they mutually fall in love with someone, it's really more of a matter of choosing NOT to act on those feelings than saying "today I feel like being more obviously queer."

Of course they don't want to be persecuted any more than you do. There's also nothing "wrong" with them, any more than there's something wrong with you, and I think it's a little hurtful to suggest that there IS something wrong with them.

I do think something is wrong with me. If I believed in that sort of shit, I'd say that it's a curse. A complete life ruiner - I hate it, I hate every moment of it and I'd give ANYTHING not to be gay. Anything. And I just cannot understand how anyone could be all "oh, I might be murdered for this BUT WHO CARES I AM IN LOVE!"

Why anyone would choose that is beyond me. Love is one thing. Your life is another.
