Fandom taught me that I was bisexual, but I would put my sexuality as 95% in favour of men (I'm female). However, I'm in a long term relationship with a woman whom I love. I wouldn't judge you and I know a lot of people in fandom wouldn't either - this idea that bisexuality is a ~fad~ is a really immature and useless proposition (and even if it was 'just a fad' who the hell cares? Who does it hurt?)

Have you tried alcohol? I have major anxiety and panic and ocd when it comes to my writing, which can often lead to major blocks. So to get myself started I will occasionally either write while sleep deprived/up late or have a couple drinks. Doesn't work all the time, but it does some of the time.

What's the big deal? IMO fandom friends generally aren't real friends, so as long as you tell people that you're leaving and don't just drop off the face of the earth and make people worry if you've died or something, then I don't see the problem here. It's perfectly normal to stop being interested in an artist after a while. Anyone who claims they're going to be a fan of whoever for life is probably 14 and doesn't know any better.

I have a squick for kids getting tortured and killed, especially those who stir my parental feelings, especially if it's being done because society doesn't value the kids. So yeah, not too into that series for that reason.

Personally it doesn't bother me. I loved the first book, but the writing does leave a lot to be desired. It's the world and the interactions that are interesting, not Collins' writing.

Some writers do great things with words. Some writers have awesome ideas and that's about it.
