I do the same thing with my shirts and my HP scarf...I do get compliments, and we may talk for five minutes, but nothing more than that and I accept it and just don't put myself out there /shy.

I know how you feel anon - but you have a lot more perseverance than I do.

I keep getting creepy guys commenting on my shirts! I never get a cool "friend material" person or someone I can make more than really, really awkward conversation with for more than a minute. Trying to make friends with shirts or ringtones doesn't work, in my experience.
