I had tickets for a Megadeth concert and right after that Dave Mustaine said he supported Rick Santorum. I was actually going to hear one of the opening acts and didn't even know much about Megadeth but I was really pissed off. Turned out there was a mix-up and I couldn't go and that really didn't upset me in the end.

(Though as someone said at the time "He also voted to misspell the name of his own band.")
