OP here and this is a spoiler? Not a few days before I made this secret, I saw a toy advertisement on TV showing on the Brave Merida doll came with her three little brothers as accessories and they could be transformed into bears thanks to the same spell that transformed their mother. Everyone I've talked to in real life and at a recent convention knew about it. As far as I knew, it wasn't a spoiler.

So... sorry.

Well, clearly from the reaction it's gotten, not everyone watches the TV you're watching to see those ads. I'm betting most people only see the trailers -- which have been pretty coy. So, yeah. A spoiler tag might've been nice.

I don't watch much tv these days. I watch my shows online. So me missing things like that is very common.

And I'm sure many others do the same.

Use a spoiler tag next time. Don't assume.

Look the OP apologized. Mistakes happen. No use crying over spilled milk and all that jazz. The world is not ending because you know a little bit about the film. I didn't know about the mother being a bear and I'm not freaking out, I've already moved on with my life.

we're not all paying attention to everything about this movie, op. i've seen one trailer. and just in case you didn't know, spoilers *do* occur in trailers. just because spoilers are officially available doesn't mean they're not spoilers.

So when I posted a secret about being excited for the release of Rise of the Planet of the Apes when everyone else didn't really care, that should have been marked as a spoiler because the movie wasn't out yet? That's what you're saying, anything about something that has not been officially released are spoilers?

Of course if you're secret is "I'm excited about this movie" with absolutely nothing about any bit of plot whatsover, then use your own damn brain to realize there are no spoilers. If you mention any plot, post a spoiler warning.

Eh, don't worry about it. It was an honest mistake and it's not like you were rubbing your hands together in glee and squeeing over the fact that you could ruin the movie for others.
