I posted a big rant about Coulson/Hawkeye on tumblr and had a bunch of people pop up to defend it, saying that there was soooo much chemistry in the snarky back and forth they had in that single scene in Thor where they didn't even share the actual screen together. That was apparently enough to launch the ship. And then supposedly, there was a hitch in Coulson's voice when he told Natasha that Barton was compromised. But I still can't see it and I've shipped stuff on less than that. All that "proof" just sailed over my head.
