Isn't that a rather respected version of Hamlet, though? It was the one that my old teacher had us watch, in any case -- but then again that guy was a bit special (in a good way, don't get me wrong!).

So go for it, OP! You never know, you might find someone out there who feels the exact same way and who'd love to team up with you :)

It's seen as the starter Hamlet, since it skips a lot of the "boring" plot bits, like the whole war thing. It's just not a very accurate version (accurate in what they did use, but not accurate because they left so much out). But whatevs, it's totally my favorite version. Favorite Ophelia by far.

Yeah but... you're supposed to leave bits out. Shakespeare never intended the every scene to be performed in a single production. It wasn't all written at once.

That's part of why every Hamlet is different, as well as what you do with the words and presentation.

It actually makes me think that an RP with different Hamlets would be quite fun. Reminds me of "Something Rotten".
