It wasn't as one-sided as that. Some people may have done that, but of us who really are mentally disabled also spoke out against the episode and were brushed off as 'white knights' too when we weren't just ignored.

I apologize, I was mostly talking about those who weren't handicapped trying to "speak for" the community, I didn't intend to say those that were genuinely offended had no right to be.
