(Anonymous) 2012-06-09 02:19 am (UTC)(link)You're not the only person who this happened to. Soulbonders creep me out. It doesn't seem like a hobby. It seems like a way to justify your total inability to function as a non-fictional human being. I'm glad you got out, OP.
There are also lots of cult recovery resources out there that might be helpful to you. It doesn't need to be an ~official or well-known cult to have serious psychological effects on a person.
