And yet, being the person I described above, I get called an "SJW" every ten fucking minutes right here on f!s, so clearly a lot of people don't agree with you. Even so much as daring to call a bigot a bigot will get you called an SJW 'round here.

Like I said, people get called SJWs even when they're not. People are stupid, and because SJ warriors are stupid the other stupid people begin blanketing everyone who speaks against offensive material as extremists without actually examining what's really being said.

That is a problem but I honestly don't know what to say about that since I don't know a solution, aside from getting people to stop being stupid.

If you are being called an SJW here, it's probably because you are one. SJWs can't tell that they are SJWs because their black-and-white, I'm-right-everyone-else-is-wrong prevents them. If you are being called an SJW in this thread, it's because you are being called out on your behavior and you should reexamine what you are doing. Try consider the arguments being made against you before deciding they are invalid.

Oh, I know they're invalid. In internet arguments, 95% of the time I am a shining example of the Good Educating Minority Woman that everyone wants every member of a minority group to be (and yes, I am insulting the people in this post who want this, in case you wanted to know). I educate people on why shit is offensive, I am polite, I am literate. But if people REPEATEDLY ignore everything that I am saying and/or continue to be bigoted fucks right in my face (or, well, in my email)? I get mad, and then suddenly I'm an "SJW" and a shrill harpy who needs to shut the fuck up because she dared to be meaaaaaaan to the poor widdle bigots.

Somehow I don't think the problem is ME.

I'm being "aggressive" (another lovely way to shut a woman down because she's not using the tone you prefer to hear, isn't it?) because this crap pisses me off. Because bigots defending their bigotry by painting pro-social justice people as "just as bad" or "zealots" or, yeah, "aggressive" isn't annoying or angering in any way, huh?

(Also, you know, offensive opinions are still opinions but it doesn't mean you shouldn't get angry or annoyed with them.)

And yeah, it is bigots. Bigots are the ones who started this "SJW" labeling shit. Everyone else just bought into it because they've got their own "issues" and don't want to be called on them.

If you're the same anon who said earlier that there is no actual thing as an SJW, that the SJW label only exists to denigrate people who are good and wonderful in their pursuit of social justice but are relentlessly opposed by evil bigots who couldn't possibly have any valid points but only want a way to defend their indefensible bigotry...

... then, yeah, you are an SJW. If you ran into a bigot who claimed there was no such thing as a bigot and "bigot" was only a label invented by race-baiters eager to take stuff away from those unfortunate enough to be in the majority and therefore targeted for exploitation, would you find that convincing?

Neither do we find convincing your idea that you can't possibly be an SJW because there's no such thing as an SJW.

I like how you can't even entertain the idea that concerns other than your own might be legitimate. Merely calling something that you want to believe "a very real fact" doesn't make it one. Were you under the impression that as soon as you announced "Only bigots and people who don't want to be called on their bigotry ever use the word SJW to describe someone!" we'd all meekly and mindlessly fold like the crowd who were told "Only smart people can see the Emperor's fabulous new clothes!" and agree "Oh, yes, yes, you're so smart; none of the evidence I have seen with my own eyes matters, only your declaration that Social Justice Warriors don't exist and are all just noble misunderstood heroes"?

Bullcrap. Being a real social justice advocate is nothing like being a bigot, you're right, but being an SJW is being like a bigot. What's the difference? Well, for starters, social justice advocates think about what they're doing, and ask themselves, "even if what I'm doing is for a good cause, is it still a good thing to do? Am I crossing the line?" SJWs never let themselves consider whether they're going too far, crossing a line.

Which of these two camps do you fall into? Here's a hint: you are trying to deny the very existence of a line. You are trying to pretend that no matter how far you go, your behavior will always be on the right side of the line, because only awful people believe in the existence of the line.

Do you have much in common with bigots in the mode of the Ku Klux Klan? Probably not. But do you have a lot in common with the bigots you're far more likely to find on the Internet: people who won't take seriously the possibility that maybe something is wrong with the way they're behaving? Honey, you're the one telling us that you couldn't possibly be an SJW because it's a "very real fact" that there are no SJWS and no one ever crosses the line in the name of social justice. Yes, you are alike.
