Oh, sue me, my god, I'm such a terrible person, getting a little miffed because I'm fucking tired of everyone expecting me to be the Good Little Minority Woman who explains everything in exacting detail with extensive research so that the Poor Misunderstood Bigot might, if they choose to actually listen, which they never do, be enlightened by my calm, patient words, because surely they would and could never listen, nay, it would be impossible to, if I did anything so shameful as get angry or become offended! That wouldn't be becoming of my status as the Good Little Minority Woman!

yeah, this is exactly why no one wants to listen. your post reeks of "UGH POOR ME WHY DO I HAVE TO BE THE ~SAVIOR~ ALL THE TIME, EDUCATING THE POOR UNEDUCATED BIGOTED MASSES AND LIFTING THEM UP TO ENLIGHTENMENT". no one asked you to take on that role. no one expects you to do it. if you are going to go out of your way to do it, then just DO it and quit being such a self-aggrandizing martyr about it. you repeatedly running across bigoted assholes and having to deal with frustrating people and scenarios does NOT give you some kind of a special, righteous privilege to treat everybody like shit, whether they're truly racist or whether they're simply ignorant and don't know any better.
