I was a soulbonder back in the day, and none of this type of shit was on my radar. Not saying you're lying, just saying wow I had no idea. But knowing a few of the soulbonders I knew on a few forums, I could totally see over the top shit like this happening. And like you said, there were a lot of kids desperate for a place/community to belong to and could easily be manipulated into that type of situation.

I'm really sorry that happened to you OP. My own days as a soulbonder are kind of embarrassing but not traumatic or harmful or anything. Just another one of those "oh teen!me, how silly I was" memories. Again, so sorry this happened to you.
