9. *sigh* Yeah. I know the feeling. I'm always kind of embarrassed to admit that I'm a Japanese major, and that video games were how I found out how fascinating the language is. (Fun fact: Originally, Chrono Trigger's thee sages of time were named Bash, Mash, and Gash. It was Ted Woolsey who changed them to Balthazar, Gaspar, and Melchior. I'm, er, kind of with him on that one.)

The one word I have the hardest time restraining myself from saying all the time is mendokusee. It's just such a useful word.

20. What is this? It's adorable. I've tried going to iGoogle.com, but I don't see anything like it anywhere.

I'm a bit curious to know what mendokusee means now. I tried a quick google search on it but didn't find much... Do tell? ;)

Oh, that would be because it's the slurred slangy form. I watch far too much shounen anime, and thus talk like a 14-year-old wannabe yakuza. The actual word is mendokusai; annoying, troublesome, etc. It's what Shikamaru says a lot. A good translation of "Mendokusee yo" is "What a pain in the ass."
