Oh god, I can't believe they tried to justify that fuckery at Pax East. About how they searched for hours to find the perfect image. Yeah right.

Agree with the above person about Tali tho. Would have liked to have seen her. :(

i'm not complaining that we never saw tali's face, i'm complaining that they did show it and it was a half-assed photoshop job.

I feel like I'm going to feel this way when they finally unmask Amon (who knows they might not but I highly doubt it)

Especially when they turn out to be a Generic McShooterface <_<

Seriously. Isaac is so basic it hurts but I guess he's supposed to be "realistic" or something.

Hm, I like it sometimes because of what it reveals about that person. Zant from The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, for example.

I agree, if only because face reveals are so so rarely done right.

Knowing that masked characters have a face is always disappointing to me. :( I just want a void to be behind the mask or something.

Have you checked out Ruby Quest? Not exactly a void, but...

Haven't played Dead Space but still, agreed! Tali is a good example (thanks for that, guys. I'd almost forgotten...like so many other things about ME I'm trying to erase from memory), and this is why I'm pleased the world will never (fully) see Master Chief's face, because the mystery itself is delicious. (And yes I'm aware of the shot of him from the side in the comics and the description from the books, but still.)

That is not the fucking "Every Man". Most of the human race does not look like that, including most gamers.

Arghablargh. Damnitall. Even Prophet is a black man - in the body of what is almost certainly a 20-30-something brown-haired white dude. All my love if Alcatraz was actually hispanic but I'd bet cold hard currency that if they ever do a face reveal, he won't be.

They really need to cut this shit out. It was amusing at first, then annoying, now it's getting infuriating. Great, every fucking game at E3 this year stars this guy. Fan-fucking-tastic.

Holy hell, it's getting to the point where it would be ~refreshing~ to have a white guy who was a blond or a ginger, let alone a black, hispanic, or Asian guy. (or GIRL)

This is me. Always. I have strange fondness towards masked character and IMO unmasking one takes away all the mystery. Transformers Prime fandom is going crazy about how Soundwave has to show his face and I'm wondering if I'm the only who would prefer him to be faceless and silent.
I guess this is one of the reasons why I loved V for Vendetta. I was SO sure they were going to unmask V in the end (cause they always do) but when they didn't I was like "OMGWTF I LOVE YOU!"

Dude, I am SO with you about Soundwave. I actually kind of hate it when Transformers with facemasks or visors that aren't shown to be removable are assumed to have normal faces underneath, haha. Give me mouthless G1 Soundwave and faceless TFP Soundwave any day!
