I guess you also hate rec lists with more than ten fics? And delicious bookmarks? And people who just don't say you what you want something?

People who rec stories without commenting on them absolutely baffle me. What is their thought process?

You guess wrong. Usually rec lists demand a bit more effort than hitting a button or a link after reading the fic and, if done right, they explain what the reccer liked about the fics.
Reccing without commenting first is odd, like staring and pointing at someone in the street and whispering about that person to your friends, but that's another story.
