No, that just means that I don't depend on getting reviews or force myself into submitting a review every time I read a fanfiction. That does not mean that I don't appreciate or "value" the review - I just don't depend on them.

Forgive me for using a synonym of value -- the difference between the two is sooo great. And as for the reading comprehension being of a lost art I guess that would depend upon the day you are having, I guess.

Again, you think it's failure of the reader's part that they didn't review... okay. But that is your own decision and not all people are subject to that ideal nor will they feel its a failure on their part. But I must add, when you enjoy a publish book do you write the author for each book you enjoyed?
