Oh, Tomb Raider and water.

Water parts in that series greatly unnerve me, because I have a deathly fear of alligators and crocodiles (don't ask me why) and chances are there's at least one of them in a water level. 'Legend' wasn't so bad, but in 'Anniversary', I had a panic attack and my sister had to sit beside me as I spent 2-3 minutes trying to kill the croc in the water of the Palace Midas level. *shudder*

To say nothing of the underwater levels in Tomb Raider 2...

Oh my God, I'm like that too. Not to panic attack levels, but whenever I get to water I always spend about ten minutes standing at the edge of the platform and looking all over to spot anything that could kill me. (And then as soon as I jump into the water, satisfied that it's safe, something comes whizzing out and I panic and manage to swim straight into its jaws instead of swimming away from it.) -_-

Yeah, that Midas croc scared me too, but for me it was the Aquatic Research Facility in Angel Of Darkness. Those mutant fish have made me afraid of swimming in all video games...

I used to save frantically then reload if I fell in, rather then try swim to a ladder :P

The first time I got to the "40 Fathoms" level in Tomb Raider 2 (which starts at the bottom of the VERY dark ocean) I seriously screamed and hit the pause button. I had to calm myself down before daring to proceed. My sister was watching and was like "LoL U mad?" It was creeoy god dammit! I couldn't help but think how some giant squid would come after me from the darkness. *shudders*
