I'm kind of the same way. It's very rare for me to find any fic that I enjoy because I'm usually pretty content with the canon. AUs are fun to talk about, but I'm not interested in reading them. Mostly because I'm a fan of characters, so it really bothers me when fic has them written so far out of character... Nothing to be jealous about though. There are plenty of other things to enjoy. :)
